Vehicle Inspection Facilities

An inspection facility demands heavy-duty infrastructure capable of handling continuous operations while ensuring maximum safety for the technicians on the ground. Our scope of work covered the complete backbone of the facility's electrical systems with an emphasis on creating a safe, effective environment.

High output, High Visibility LED Lighting:

You cannot inspect a vehicle properly in the shadows. Flawless paintwork, tight panel gaps, and mechanical components require pristine visibility. We designed and installed a high-output LED lighting system tailored specifically to provide uniform, glare-free illumination across the working bays, making it easy for inspectors to spot even the tiniest micro-scratches or imperfections.

Compliant Emergency Lighting:

Safety is always our absolute priority. We designed, mapped, and installed a comprehensive emergency lighting system strictly in accordance with CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) guidelines. In the event of a primary power failure, the facility will automatically illuminate critical escape routes and high-risk task areas, keeping staff safe and compliant with UK building regulations.

Robust Power Distribution:

To feed the heavy equipment, diagnostic tools, and specialized machinery used during vehicle testing, we installed a heavy-duty 3-phase distribution board. Alongside the main distribution system, we strategically ran small power distribution networks across the entire facility, ensuring that every workstation, diagnostic bay, and tool hub has reliable, accessible power right where it's needed.

Heavy-Duty Galvanised Containment:

In a busy automotive environment, cables need serious protection from physical damage. We supplied and installed a full galvanised containment system throughout the building. Utilizing heavy-gauge tray, trunking, and conduit, the containment not only offers maximum mechanical protection but also delivers a clean, highly professional, and industrial aesthetic.

To meet stringent safety briefs, the entire project was wired using LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cabling. In the rare event of a fire, LSZH cables emit significantly less smoke and toxic fumes compared to standard PVC cabling, protecting both the valuable assets inside the facility and, most importantly, human life.
